Our commitment to a website that works for every resident — and the built-in tools that help you use it.
Our standard
This site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That means visible focus indicators, full keyboard operability, AA color contrast, semantic landmarks, labeled forms, target sizes of at least 44px for primary actions, and respect for the prefers-reduced-motion system setting.
Built-in reading & accessibility tools
Look for the Accessibility button in the bottom-right corner of every page. It opens a panel with:
- Read aloud — have any page read to you with adjustable speed.
- Text size — three sizes (A / A+ / A++).
- High-contrast mode — yellow-on-black for maximum legibility.
- Dyslexia-friendly font — switch to a more readable typeface.
- More letter & line spacing — extra breathing room for text.
- Highlight links — make every link unmistakable.
- Reading mask — a focus line that follows your cursor.
- Pause animations — stop all motion across the site.
