Family questions, answered

Do kids need their own library card?

Yes — kids of any age can get their own card with a parent or guardian's signature. There's no fee, ever.

Are there fines for late kids' books?

No. We went fine-free on all children's and teen materials in 2022. Just bring them back when you can.

Is the library a safe place to drop my kid off?

Children 8 and under must have a caregiver in the building, but the library is a welcoming space for older kids to do homework, hang out, and read after school.

Do you have programs in Spanish?

Yes. Bilingual storytime runs every Saturday at 11 AM, and we have a growing Spanish-language collection for all ages.
